Microblading Brows

Microblading Brows

Microblading is the tattooing technique in which an artist draws individual eyebrow strokes with the help of a handheld tool known as a microblade. Each hair is hand-drawn to match the coarseness and color of your natural eyebrows. This artistic feather stroke procedure gives a fuller appearance to your brows and accentuates your face’s natural features. The pigments used in microblading offer a semi-permanent result.

    The appointment procedure with us

The process usually takes two sessions, including a touch-up visit. In the first session, the treatment takes around 2-3 hours. The brow artist will shape, style and select the pigment color. The procedure gets started once the customer is satisfied with the selection. The client is required to do a follow-up visit. The first session will take time to heal, after which the second session will start. It usually starts after 4-6 weeks. The second session is shorter and gets completed within 2 hours approximately.

    Healing and Recovery for Microblading

The microblading will cause a little bit of scabbing around your brows. It will heal down naturally, and you should restrain from touching or picking at the scabs. The brows usually heal in around one or two, depending on the client. Once it starts healing, the color will also set in. It takes about a month for the dark tinge to fade and give way to a more natural light color. The true pigment will reveal once your brow area gets healed completely.

    Potential Risks and Complications

We use new needles, safe and sterilized tools to ensure that there arise no complications.  Clients should diligently follow the pre and post-care procedures to minimize all risk and complications. People who are sensitive to hair dyes, metals (gold, nickel or silver) and topical cosmetic products should conduct a color patch test. It should be done a week before the appointment.

    FAQs about Microblading

Is it necessary to go for a touch-up session?

The healing process will leave an effect on your microblading. A touch-up session will ensure that your brows are fully pigmented and natural-looking. The color usually fades after the healing period, and it is essential to go for a second session. The areas which didn’t turn out well after the first session will be refilled, more strokes added, and brow thickness will be adjusted. Often oily skin will lighten the color which gets corrected in the touch-up visit. The session will ensure that your brow stays perfect for the whole year.

Can the touch-up be done before four weeks?

The pigment settles in only after four weeks, and the tissues take time to heal. Going for a touch-up session before four weeks will lead to scar damage.

    Will it be painful?

The pain level ranges from mild to zero. The technician applies a topical anesthetic before and during the treatment to numb the brow area. Every client reacts differently to pain and anesthesia. Clients may see a slight swelling and redness after the procedure in that area. However, it gradually heals.

How long will the effect last?

Microblading is a semi-permanent treatment as the pigments are not deeply implanted into your skin. It usually lasts one-three years. The lasting effect depends on your skincare routine, skin type (oily, dry, normal or combination), color retention capabilities and age. Using glycolic acid or AHA products will fade your pigment faster. Visiting for a touch-up every 12-18 months will keep it natural and fresh.

What if I don’t like the outcome?

Communicate your brow technician about the pigment, shape, structure and style that you want. Our artists will try their best to bring in maximum satisfaction. However, we all have asymmetrical faces which may lead to uneven appearance. We will fix it by color correction and pigment discoloration during the touchup session.
